The Challenges

- Overcome a lack of deep Agile understanding among staff and insufficient enterprise-wide commitment to the transformation
The Solution
The Accelebrate Learning & Development team immediately began collaborating remotely with
the client's key managers to design an Agile training program for their staff.
The customized training was then successfully delivered over a 2-month period.
Our Enterprise Agile Training Solution
- Agile for Managers and Leaders Training
- Accelebrate began by working with the leaders and managers in the organization,
some of whom had tried previously to implement team-wide Agile practices on their own.
- The group successfully identified desired business outcomes and developed a backlog for execution.
Participants agreed that the class was extremely relevant and managers were able to immediately
put what they learned into practice with their teams.
- Agile Product Owner Training
- Accelebrate delivered training the following month for the product owners.
During class, some participants resisted the cultural shift to Agile and several individuals
wanted very specific answers to how their processes/jobs would change after the transformation.
Company management, present in the class, explained why the change was necessary and how processes
and roles would change. In hindsight, the client agreed that having staff take an Agile Fundamentals
class prior to the Product Owner training would have minimized confusion.
- The participants agreed that the most valuable part of the class was the hands-on labs,
which simultaneously demonstrated the gains possible with Agile while solidifying Agile concepts.
- Transformational Lean-Agile Scrum Master Training
- Accelebrate next trained the individuals taking on the Scrum Master role.
